At only 18 years old, Jakobe Moody, better known as FN DaDealer is carving out his path within hip hop. Born on the southside of Atlanta, Georgia; FN credits his early musical inspirations to leaders of the trap music movement T.I and Young Jeezy. As a kid FN was surrounded by hip hop, as his brothers used to rap, which led FN exploring the genre for himself. His artist name FN DaDealer came from the abbreviation of “From Nothing” with DaDealer as a nod to his time spent hustling. A hustler at heart, FN’s main mission to show everyone that making it out is possible. While the Atlanta music scene has heavily influenced FN, he also credits rappers like Lil Baby, as one of the first artists in his generation he witnessed rise out of the city and make it as a rapper motivating him to do the same
Since the release of his first song ever “Opposition” which he dropped independently on Youtube, FN still remembers the feeling of getting his first 1,000 views. After connecting with a local cameraman by the name of Wolf, FN went on to drop his first music video for his song “All Of Me” (2020) followed by “Hard Head” (2020) ultimately catching the attention of GRAMMY-award winning artist Young Thug leading him to ink a deal with Young Stoner Life Records/ 300 Entertainment all while graduating from high school.
Now ready to pursue music full-time and begin his next chapter, FN is laying the groundwork for what will be his first full-length project which will feature his single “New Money” featuring Lil ManMan. When talking about his process for putting together his next release FN states “I put the music first. As long as the music is good I feel like everything else will fall into place.” FN also appears on the Young Stoner Life Records compilation album Slime Language 2 with the track “Really Be Slime” alongside YNW Melly and B Slime.
While one of FN DaDealer’s goals is to take care of his family, it’s also to create opportunity for those around him. A natural born hustler, FN has his eye on the prize and is achieving his goals one banger at a time.
